In Medio is a choral community of accomplished young-adult singers who make brave, relevant, and thoughtful music for everyone. 

In 2019 my husband John Eisemann and I started In Medio—Latin for “in the midst”—a new chamber choir in Portland. After pausing during the early days of the pandemic, we finished our first full season and are mid-way through our second season. The group is young and hungry, and though we take the music seriously, we don’t take ourselves too seriously.
